Job summary

Sono Bello is seeking a dedicated healthcare teammate to support the full surgical experience at our Roseland, NJ practice. You will help with pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, prepare instruments and the OR, and assist physicians during procedures to ensure safety and quality.

Role emphasizes patient education, meticulous labeling, and post-op follow-up calls, with a strong focus on a stable, daytime schedule and team collaboration across a leading aesthetic practice.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical instruments, and instrument trays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and labeling standards.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, including basic report writing.
• Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Able to interpret written, diagram, and verbal instructions.
• Basic math proficiency.
• Experience in patient care and working with physicians and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Support the full surgical experience: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room for procedures.
• Assist the physician during procedures as needed.
• Verify correct patient, procedure, and surgical site in the OR.
• Ensure all medications and solutions are clearly and properly labeled.
• Maintain a sterile environment and clean/disinfect surgical instruments and rooms.
• Educate patients and caregivers on procedures, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Support patient discharge and return post-op calls.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and audit patient records.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the full surgical experience: pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and the operating room for procedures
• Assist the physician during procedures as needed

Physical Requirements

Compensation Range: $24 USD - $30.27 USD

Pay may vary by location, and actual compensation depends on factors like qualifications, experience, skills, and business needs. Sono Bello may adjust this range in the future. Full-time employees may also receive benefits such as incentives, equity, health coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
