Job summary

Blessing Health System is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the intraop team. This non-exempt hourly position supports development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan of nursing care.

The role serves neonate to geriatric populations and requires adherence to ICARE standards and Blessing policies. Eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a $2.25/hour shift differential if applicable.

• Required: completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Preferred: Surgical Technologist certification.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is a team position taking responsibility in assisting with the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan of nursing care provided by the intraop team.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Corporate Services. ICARE standards must be demonstrated. Adherence to the Code of Conduct and other policies is required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience

REQUIRED:

• Complete an accredited Surgical Technology Program

PREFERRED:

• One year experience preferred

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:

• Surgical Technologist certification preferred.

• Non-exempt hourly
