Surgical Technician assists the surgical team during procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field, passing instruments, and ensuring surgical equipment is available and functioning properly.They also assist with routine patient care activities under the supervision of nurses and physicians.
Required:High School diploma or equivalentCompletion of a Surgical Technician training program from and accredited school2 3 years of experience in a main OR
Certified Surgical Technician (NBSTSA) requiredCurrent BLS Healthcare Provider Certification required with American Heart Association

Must have strong knowledge with skill being able to scrub the following service lines: robotics, vascular, endovascular, general, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic casesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbally and written)Must be flexible, able to multitask and be able to work independently
