Job summary

CHI St. Vincent Morrilton in Arkansas seeks a Surgical Technician to help prepare the operating room and surgical team for a variety of procedures. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited practical nursing program with perioperative nursing core.
• Graduate of an approved surgical technology program (1–2 year).
• On-the-job training within St. Vincent Systems.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Surgical Technician, you will help prepare the operating room and surgical team so they can successfully perform a variety of surgical procedures for patients.

Every day you will set up surgical equipment and instruments, assist the surgical team, and ensure a sterile environment. You will be expected to adapt quickly, collaborate effectively within the OR team, and contribute directly to the patient's healing process.

To be successful in this role, you must possess adaptability, a strong team-player mindset, and enthusiasm for supporting complex surgical procedures.

• Competency to Create & Maintain A Sterile Operative Field and Assist In Providing an Infection-Free Environment for the Patient

Job Requirements

Required
