Job summary

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Main Unit Surgical Technician to support trauma surgeons and medical teams in a high-stakes environment. You will handle sterile instruments, prepare for procedures, perform surgical counts, and maintain sterile technique under RN supervision.

Ideal candidates have an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology and CST certification within 90 days. Sign-on bonus of $2,000 is available for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology required; CST cert to be obtained within 90 days.
• Experience with trauma care protocols preferred; ability to handle high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize operating room and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure instruments are properly sterilized.
• Assist surgeons and RN circulator during procedures and perform counts.
• Restock supplies and manage decontamination of instruments.
