Job summary

Essentia Health's St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth, MN seeks Surgical Technologist students to join the operating room team. Selected applicants receive a $20,000 paid education benefit in exchange for serving Essentia Health for two years after graduation.

You must be currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technology program; online certificates do not qualify. The role is 36 hours per week with rotating shifts, including every fourth weekend and holidays, in a Level I/II trauma

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Online certificate programs and prerequisite courses will not qualify you for this program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operating room under RN supervision; handle instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies; perform other duties as assigned.
