Manatee Memorial Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, Bradenton, FL, seeks a Surgical Technologist to support the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. You will assist in delivering quality care to the surgical patient and help maintain instruments, equipment, and supplies under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include performing scrub duties, maintaining room and stock, and ensuring service excellence at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CST certification or equivalent required; BLS certification.
• 1 year surgical technologist experience preferred.
• Commitment to patient care and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Plays a vital role in supporting surgeons and the surgical team before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for the general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
