Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide supportive patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The role includes facilitating unit operations, clerical duties, stocking, ordering and transporting supplies, and assisting with patient care tasks.

Demonstrates service excellence at all times and adapts to other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Florida CNA license, BLS certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the Patient Care Specialist is responsible and accountable for providing supportive patient care. The Patient Care Specialist assumes the responsibility for facilitating unit operations under the direction of the registered nurse, including clerical work, stocking, ordering, and transporting as well as specified patient care duties.

Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
