Job summary

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital is seeking a Surgical Tech PRN to support our operating rooms. You will prepare the surgical suite, pass instruments, and assist the team during procedures with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• CSA) Certified Surgical Assistant, or (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
• High School Graduate / GED, or Vocational School Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments, supplies and advanced equipment for safe procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping and draping with focus on comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, anticipate the team’s needs.
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and respond promptly to concerns.
• Uphold sterile technique, turnover rooms efficiently, and support a collaborative team environment.
