Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for a PRN role. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during operations, and collaborate with a skilled team delivering high‑quality patient care.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining the suite, assisting with patient transport and draping, scrubbing in, monitoring during procedures, and preserving sterile technique in a fast-paced environment. Eligible staff gain education and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety.

• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns.
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high‑performing, collaborative team environment.
