Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist for PRN shifts to support our surgical services. You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during operations, and collaborate with a skilled team to ensure safe and efficient procedures.

Responsibilities include setting up instruments, assisting with patient positioning, scrubbing in, and maintaining sterile technique throughout surgeries.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Vocational School Graduate
• 1 year experience required

• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment
