Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of surgical technician certification from an accredited program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• One year of OR or ambulatory surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during procedures by preparing and handling instruments.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure infection control standards.
• Anticipate needs of surgical team to improve efficiency.
• Perform instrument counts and manage supplies for procedures.
• Prepare patient skin and position the patient as needed.
