Job summary

Northern Montana Hospital (NMH) in Havre, Montana is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in the operating room under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. You will ensure sterile technique, support the surgeon, and manage equipment and specimens for procedures.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, BLS certification, and CST certification is preferred. A background check and drug screen are required. A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is offered for certified surgical techs.

• BLS certification required.
• CST certification preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the OR room with the nursing staff for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
• Assist the physician during surgical procedures.
• Transport patient to and from the OR.
• Handle instrument preparation, sterilization, and equipment readiness.
• Document unusual occurrences and assist as scrub tech in procedures.
