Job summary

METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER in Ohio seeks an experienced Sterile Processing/Operating Room Technician to support OR functions, maintain clean and efficient services, and assist across patient age ranges from neonate to geriatric.

Responsibilities include equipment orientation, role modeling for staff and students, and upholding the system's mission and customer service standards. Industry-leading benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support certification or within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs various duties in the operating room.
• Maintains cleanliness and efficiency of operating room services.
• Performs limited neonate through geriatric patient care services.
• Orients employees to equipment and procedures.
• Serves as a role model to other operation room technicians and students.
• Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards.
