Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the perioperative team. You will scrub, assist under an RN, and help ensure sterile technique for invasive procedures.

Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program; BLS certification; experience preferred; CST certification optional. Must be able to be in-house within 30 minutes when on call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• One year experience preferred for Surgical Tech role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle instrumentation, supplies and devices for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and support the scrub team under RN supervision.
• Be available on call within 30 minutes when required.
