Job summary

Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Tech to support the OR team in a Level One Trauma Center with 24/7 operations. You will prepare the operating room, set up instruments, assist the surgical team, and help maintain a sterile environment for diverse procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years clinical experience as a surgical technologist.
• High school diploma or GED.
• American Heart Association BLS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares instrument room and case carts using aseptic technique.
• Opens sterile supplies and sterilizes camera, scope and cables per physician preferences.
• Assists nursing staff in patient care.
• Performs OR room turnover efficiently.
• Maintains sterility and standard precautions in the OR.
