Job summary

SCA Health in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist to support operative and invasive procedures. You will scrub, prepare instruments, and assist with room turnover.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a Surgical Technologist course, two years OR experience, and preferably ASC experience or ORT certification. Military training in surgical tech is also valued.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the armed forces of the United States, the National Guard or in the United States Public Health Services

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
