Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking a Certified Surgical Technician in Troy, MI to join our operating room team. The CST provides technical support to surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, scrubs in, assists the RN circulator, and maintains sterile technique throughout procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, CST certification via NBSTSA, and BLS. One year of OR tech experience is preferred; Monday–Friday, full-time hours with no calls or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• CST certification verified via NBSTSA.
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.
• One year of current Surgical Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and restock supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub in, assist circulator, and ensure sterile technique.
• Prepare cases for the next day and assist in gowning/draping.
• Pass instruments and communicate needs to circulators.
• Follow exposure control plans and environmental safety standards.
• May operate sterilizer and transport patients as needed.

Education

CST certification verified via NBSTSA

BLS certification (as required by individual ASC policy)
