Responsibilities

• With minimal assistance, plan for and prepare instruments, supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in care and use of instruments and supplies used in surgery.
• Assist in circulating duties with a registered nurse.
• Perform surgical technician duties under supervision; may scrub minor to major cases under supervision.
• Assist with prepping patient for procedures as directed.
• Assist in positioning and draping the patient for surgery.
