Qualifications

• Three years of occupational experience in the subject taught.
• Within the last five years, at least three years of operating room experience or teaching in the field, or a combination of the two before hire date.
• Education and experience must align with state regulations and comply with state authorization agencies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor, role model and facilitator to students.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and for individual students.
• Apply teaching and clinical skills to the assigned schedule.
• Participate in assessment activities for courses and programs per university plan.
• Improve class materials and syllabi within governance culture.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies to achieve learning outcomes.
• Maintain scholarly activities and professional growth.
• Provide clinical supervision and feedback in clinical settings as needed.
