Surgical Tech II, OR - Labor & Delivery - $20k Sign-on Bonus

Apply now for the Surgical Tech II position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. This full-time role involves assisting in surgical procedures within the Labor & Delivery unit, with night shifts of 12 hours. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus paid over 2 years and a relocation bonus of up to $10,000 based on the distance moved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons before, during, and after procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments and supplies.
• Perform surgical counts and demonstrate knowledge of aseptic techniques.
• Perform tasks as a circulator and scrub tech, with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program or successful completion of a surgical technologist training program in the armed forces.
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
• Certification from NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT (TSC), or no certification required if graduated from a military training program.

Technical Capabilities: Knowledge of procedures, surgical equipment, OR care, environmental safety, inventory management, and surgical technology at a fundamental or novice level.
