Job summary

Piedmont Walton is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic perioperative team. You will scrub, assist with procedures, and collaborate with licensed staff to deliver safe patient care in a high-volume OR.

Requirements include a Surgical Technology program graduate, 3 years of experience, BCLS upon hire, and CST certification preferred. Join a Level III Trauma Center delivering 24/7 care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a Surgical Technology program required.
• 3 years of surgical tech experience required.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• BCLS – Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• CST – Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub role duties and supports licensed staff.
• Assists in patient care with a focus on safety and critical thinking.
• Works with a team to support a fast-paced OR environment.
• Cares for patients across age groups under RN direction.

Responsibilities

Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.
