Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist II assists physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and providing necessary instruments and supplies, according to established patient care plans. Must be competent in all case types, including complex surgeries, and maintain active NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care during surgical procedures.
• Set up, perform, and clean up surgical procedures as a circulator and scrub tech.
• Perform counts of sharps, sponges, and instruments according to policy.
• Apply principles of Asepsis to maintain a sterile field.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program or military training in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Certification from NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT (TS-C) required, unless military-trained.

Additional Details

Shift: 12-hour shifts, full-time. Sign-on bonus paid over 24 months; relocation bonus up to $10,000 based on mileage, available for those relocating over 100 miles.
