Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Surgical Technician to join our operating team in a fast-paced setting. You will assist with equipment setup and maintenance, ensuring tools are available and functioning, and help maintain a sterile environment throughout procedures.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program, NBSTSA certification within 90 days of hire, 1 year of experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting or other recognized programs (required within 90 days of hire)
• Experience as a surgical technician (minimum 1 year preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

Role Overview:

Performs specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural settings under supervision. Assists the surgical team by managing equipment and instrumentation to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the surgical team with equipment setup and maintenance


• Ensuring availability and proper functioning of surgical tools and devices


• Maintaining a safe and sterile environment during procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program
