Position Summary: Surgical Tech Full Time Days

The Surgical Technician demonstrates basic knowledge and skills in the scrub role, assisting during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain aseptic technique, set up equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for assigned cases.
• Scrub in and pass instruments and equipment during surgeries.
• Pull cases as needed, break down cases at the end, and set up operating room for the next schedule.
• Be available for call as required by unit need.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Graduate of Surgical Technician Program as per state regulation.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year as surgical technician.
• Required Certifications: BLS.
• Preferred Certifications: Surgical Technology Certification.
