Under the supervision of a seasoned Surgical Technician or Scrub Nurse, the Surgical Technologist Extern follows established procedural guidelines in the preparation of sterile supplies and equipment used in the surgical procedures,
performs appropriate room duties involved with direct patient care, and functions as a member of the operating room team.
PRN Status Clause:
This is a PRN as-needed position, you must be available to work at least 1 full shift bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the needs of the unit.
