Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years surgical technician experience (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Surgical Technician/Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology preferred; High School Diploma or GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures and other sterile supplies during surgical procedures.
• Prepares for procedures by pulling instruments, supplies and ensuring working order.
• Maintains a proper sterile field and communicates needs to team.
• Restocks and cleans operating rooms and equipment.
• Assists with orientation, guidance and evaluation of staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
