The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree, a national credential in surgical technology, and at least two years of recent operating room or instructional experience. Prior teaching is preferred.

Requirements

Education

• A minimum of an earned bachelor’s degree.

Credentials

• Possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

Experience

• Be a graduate of an education program in surgical technology accredited by a nationally recognized programmatic accreditation agency.
• Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the past five years.
• Strong communication and technology skills
• Prior teaching experience preferred
