Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA seeks an Associate Application Analyst - Surgical Systems to join the SurgiNet team.

You will participate in technology implementations and clinical, business and technical process analyses to integrate and align applications with the EMR standard across the enterprise. You will diagnose and communicate problems across teams to facilitate timely resolutions for IT and clinical end users, and provide on-call support as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ years clinical Information Services or relevant clinical experience.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software applications.
• Working knowledge of computer systems analysis and programming techniques and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of Information Services standards and quality methods and metrics.
• Quick learner of software and information technology; eager to learn new applications.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills with customers and team members.
• Customer-oriented service excellence per UHS standards.
• Basic knowledge of project management methods and business practices.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meets with users, vendors and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications.
• Supports the implementations of applications and prepares the appropriate documentation.
• Performs system testing and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
• Resolves implementation-related Customer Support Center Tickets.
• Adheres to UHS Project Management standards and work plans.
• Provides training to users on operating procedures for applications.
• Establishes and maintains regular communications with application teams and user community.
• Researches and resolves Customer Support Center Tickets; provides on-call support as scheduled.
