Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare is seeking a full-time Transport Aide to support nursing staff and move patients as needed. You will transport patients to and from surgery, verify medical records, and assist with blood transports in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• No previous experience required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides general non-technical assistance to nursing staff members.
• Transport patients to and from surgery and checks patients’ medical records for required documentation.
• Performs cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) (when necessary).
• Transports blood (as necessary).
