Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin is seeking a Supply Chain Technician to support Surgical Services, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Surgicenter. You will manage inventory, assemble case carts, and maintain stock integrity to ensure timely access to critical supplies.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and teamwork with clinical and Supply Chain partners to address shortages and urgent requests in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, HSED, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, healthcare support, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure critical medical supplies, implants, grafts, tissue products, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Receive, distribute, and replenish inventory accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain organized stock locations.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Track and manage expiration dates, recalls, lot numbers, backorders, and product documentation.
  • Rotate inventory to reduce waste and support quality standards.
  • Pick supplies and assemble case carts for upcoming surgical procedures.
  • Restock unused supplies following procedures and maintain inventory integrity.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, Sterile Processing, and Supply Chain partners to address shortages and urgent requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of ordered, purchased, received, and returned products.
  • Help identify and solve inventory discrepancies and operational challenges.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organized, and audit-ready.

As a Supply Chain Technician, you'll support Surgical Services, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Surgicenter by managing inventory, distributing critical supplies, assembling surgical case carts, and helping maintain a seamless care environment.

What You'll Do

Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma, GED, HSED, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, healthcare support, or a related field
Preferred
  • Associate Degree
  • Experience with healthcare inventory or materials management systems
  • Experience with PeopleSoft MMIS, Par Excellence, Q-Sight, or similar inventory management software
  • Hospital, surgical services, or clinical support experience
