Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate special order procurement for obtaining surgical implants, equipment, and supplies needed for day-to-day operating room function.
• Maintain responsibility for monitoring service and repair of equipment.
• Coordinate and perform analysis of new supplies when requested for patient care.
• Coordinate the purchase and tracking of capital equipment for the department.
• Work with hospital departments to plan and control equipment and supply acquisition and inventory control.
• Meet and confer with outside vendors and sales representatives from outside companies.
• Review complaints and problems arising from procurement of materials and take action to resolve.
• May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.
