Description

Surgical Supply Technician is responsible for completing Supply Chain and Perioperative standard operating procedures for supply replenishment across supply nodes within the organization, including but not limited to supply bin pulling, cleaning, filling, receiving, and replenishment. They manage the deployment and replenishment of patient care equipment and medical code carts according to prescribed procedures, techniques, and universal precautions. They also identify and manage expired supplies and ensure cleanliness of Supply Chain and Perioperative distribution areas and supply nodes. The technician responds to STAT supply requests, maintains clear communication with clinical staff, the Perioperative team, and the Supply Chain Distribution team. Additionally, they manage specialty or patient-specific supplies, implants, and tissues needed for Perioperative and surgical operations.
