Opened in 1977, Torrington Community Hospital is a critical access hospital that provides excellent medical care to residents in southeast Wyoming and bordering Nebraska communities.
As a Surgical/Sterile Processing Technician at Torrington Community Hospital, you will be scrubbing surgical cases including Orthopedic, General, OB/GYN, Urology, and ENT. This is a PRN position. You will work on a as needed basis when coverage is needed. Department operates Monday-Thursday 6:00am-6:30pm. Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyo. is a 25-bed critical access hospital.

This position selects and places surgical instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery. Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures, and other sterile supplies during surgical procedure. In addition, is responsible for the proper care and handling of all general and specialty instruments including the cleaning, assembly, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation.
