Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Stepdown unit to deliver complex post-surgical care. You will monitor vital signs and telemetry, administer medications, and manage wounds and drains.

You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families, and support safe discharge, with ongoing clinical education and advancement opportunities in a team-based environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in post-surgical or stepdown care preferred.
• Ability to monitor telemetry and vital signs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex post-surgical care and monitor patients closely.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage wounds/drains.
