Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in Southern Indiana/Louisville area is seeking a Surgical Services Assistant. This full-time role features 3x12 hour shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm and one holiday call.

You will work on the unit under the direction of the nurse, performing delegated patient-care tasks and routine non-patient care duties. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma (or equivalent) and BLS certification; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification required, training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nurse by providing delegated patient-care tasks on shift.
• Perform routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks as directed.
