Job summary

Vibra Travels is seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join our expanding network of healthcare travelers. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient in decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization techniques.
• Familiarity with autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and tracking systems.
• High attention to detail and infection control.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, inspection, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
• Operate and monitor autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain infection control standards and accurate records.
• Coordinate with facilities and travel team to meet assignment requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent sterile processing experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• CRCST or CBSPD certification preferred or required based on facility
• Current, valid, and active driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a Sterile Processing Tech in the state of employment if required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and may be required by some clients

Additional Qualifications/Skills:
