Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to receive, clean, sterilize and store surgical instruments and equipment. This role supports the operating rooms by ensuring sterile, ready-to-use tools and adherence to safety standards.

Flex days with no weekends; position requires high attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and knowledge of disinfection and quality assurance procedures. Previous experience in sterile processing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year sterile processing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, disinfects, decontaminates, and sterilizes surgical instruments and equipment.
• Properly disposes of bio-hazardous substances and medical waste.
• Performs and documents quality assurance testing and inspections.
