Job summary

Foundation Health Partners’ Fairbanks Memorial Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska is seeking Registered Nurse OR Circulator Trainees to join the perioperative team for a three-year commitment. The Periop 101 program blends online learning, labs, and a clinical practicum, with a 1-year complimentary AORN membership.

This full-time role (40 hours/week, 10-hour shifts) provides direct nursing care in an acute setting, with documentation and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Alaska RN license required.
• Associate degree in nursing (ADN) or higher.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to acute patients in the OR circulation role.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and discharge planning.
• Document care accurately in the patient record and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary perioperative team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
