Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, Florida, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to manage the daily surgery schedule, coordinate room assignments, staff, and equipment, and work with anesthesia to cover staffing for changes.

You will collaborate with ACC, PACU, inpatient units, Radiology, and Cath Lab, ensure regulatory compliance, promote a positive patient experience, and participate in the department's quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• CNOR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily surgery schedule, including room assignments and staffing.
• Coordinates with anesthesia to ensure appropriate staffing for changes.
• Collaborates with ACC, PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and Cath Lab to organize the schedule.
• Serves as central contact for surgeons, anesthesia, and staff; ensures patient safety and infection prevention.
