Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Health Administration, or related field.
• 5 years' experience in surgical services.
• 3 years Operational performance improvement and/or project management experience.
• 3 years Financial management experience, or graduate level finance course training.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate business processes and operational initiatives to optimize financial resources within Surgical Services.
• Monitor capital allocations and conduct cost benefit analyses.
• Provide accurate financial reports and budget preparation support; ensure adherence to PMO methodologies and policies.
• Participate in committees reviewing products for potential cost savings and lead cost improvement initiatives in supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical leadership to review project proposals, prioritize patient safety and best practice initiatives.
• Facilitate vendor services and inventory processes, including annual surgical supply inventory.
