Henry Ford Health’s Jackson hospital campus is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care under RN supervision, participate in care planning, and respond to emergencies with established procedures. A CNA program or nursing coursework is required, with emphasis on safety and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (CNA, PCT, PAT) or current nursing program enrollment with Fundamentals of Nursing course.
• Foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care duties under RN supervision to meet safety and comfort needs.
• Assist in planning and implementing patient care based on observed needs.
• Respond to emergent situations following established procedures.
• Participate in ongoing education to enhance skills and knowledge.
