Short Description
Supports the Clinical Director in leading the patient care team to meet customer needs and oversees clinical operations to achieve departmental objectives. Responsible for directing, implementing, and evaluating patient care services within the Perioperative Setting in the absence of the Clinical Director.
Experience Required
Minimum 2 years in a Perioperative support services role with OR equipment knowledge. 2 years of OR leadership experience.
Education Requirements
Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
License/Certification Requirements
Current NJ-RN License.
Special Requirements
Strong communication skills, proficiency with the NDNQI database, confidentiality, computer literacy, organizational skills, and ability to work with diverse groups. Effective telephone skills, problem-solving, and experience in performance evaluations are also required.
