Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Surgical Services Assistant for full-time shifts. You will work 3x12 hour shifts (6:30 am–7:00 pm) with one holiday call, assisting the nurse with delegated patient care tasks and routine non-patient care duties.

The role supports a regional community hospital, with opportunities for continued education and a collaborative team environment. EOE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, training provided.

Responsabilités

• Under general supervision, functions as an on-shift team member providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
• Works under the direction of the nurse to support the surgical services team.
