Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, CO is seeking an OR support role (Nursing RN LPN CNA PCT CMA) under Surgical Services. Reports to Surgical Services Director; FLSA Full-Time, Non-exempt, hourly pay is $19.57–$22.00.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean OR, equipment turnover, and adherence to HIPAA and PMC policies. Requires HS diploma and BLS within 3 months; prior surgical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within three (3) months of hire or transfer.
• Previous experience within a surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a healthy, clean, and safe environment for staff and patients.
• Gather, move, assemble, disassemble, and clean operating room equipment, tables, specialty equipment, and positioning devices.
• Assure that needed equipment is available and in good working order prior to use.
• Assist in setup and teardown of the operating rooms before and after cases.
• Participate in timely and efficient operating room turnover.
• Clean and disinfect operating room and equipment.
• Participate in staff meetings and in-services as requested.
• Participate in educational opportunities as they arise.
• Communicate all pertinent information, including problems, concerns, or ideas, to the assigned nurse, utilizing proper reporting lines, in a timely and effective manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
