As an independently licensed professional, you will partner closely with specialist physicians to coordinate and deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care. In this role, you’ll direct inpatient care, collaborate with a tight-knit multidisciplinary team, and actively engage patients and their families to drive exceptional clinical outcomes. Join a supportive, high-performing environment where your expertise as a credentialed medical staff member is truly valued.Shift:Three 12-hour shifts per week.Rotating days/nights/weekendsRequirements:Clinical experience in Surgical ServicesAbility to first assist in the operating room, including robotic surgeryAbility to perform procedures at the bedsideProvide post-op care on the floor and ICUEvaluate and admit patients from the EDEvaluate surgical consult patientsBasic computer skills, EPIC preferredPreferred:Masters of Science of Physician Assistant Studies with focus in specialty fieldAt least 1 year of clinical experience in a specialtySurgical Services:Experience with chest tube placement management preferred but not requiredManaging General, Vascular, Thoracic, Spine and Gynecologic Oncology surgical patients.Qualifications:Masters of Science of Physician Assistant Studies with focus in specialty field or;Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner LicenseState and Federal DEA LicensureSurgical Services: BLS and ACLSDiversity is a core value at Beth Israel Lahey Health.
