Center for Specialized Surgery - Gold Coast is seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician (Surgical Tech) to support surgical teams in the Santa Barbara area. The role emphasizes maintaining sterile technique, preparing equipment, and assisting with procedures under supervision.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited surgical technologist program, CPR certification, and have or aspire to gain ortho/spine experience.

Job description

Operating room technicians, also called surgical or scrub technicians, assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, or other surgical personnel. This position prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.

Education / Experience

• A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program or one year experience
• Must be certified to perform CPR
• Ortho and spine experience, preferred.
