Job summary

PetVet Care Centers in Little Rock, AR seeks a Surgical Scrub Technician to join our emergency and specialty team. You will support surgery, nursing care, patient handling, and medical record maintenance, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced hospital.

The role requires CVT certification, at least 2 years of veterinary experience, and a schedule Monday–Thursday with weekend/holiday rotation. A sign-on bonus up to $1,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in veterinary medicine.
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vitals and gather patient history.
• Restrain canines and felines safely for exams and procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and basic laboratory tests.
• Assist in surgical procedures and provide nursing care.
• Maintain patient medical records and hospital software.
• Care for pre/post op patients in ICU and discharge instructions.
