Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other surgical staff during procedures.
• Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are properly prepared and available.
• Perform counts of instruments, sponges, and other surgical items as required.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Clean and prepare the operating room after procedures.
• Follow facility policies and maintain accurate documentation.
