Job summary

CHI St. Alexius Health in Bismarck is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technologist to support the operating room team and participate in life‑saving procedures daily.

You will set up and maintain sterile fields, anticipate surgeon needs, pass instruments, and collaborate with RNs on counts and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CST registration or CST within 90 days, BLS within 480 hours, and a willingness to learn; a $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be registered on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Persons (UAP) Registry prior to start date.
• Certified Surgical Technician or CST within 90 days of employment.
• Basic Life Support Certification within 480 hours of employment and meets recertification as required.
• No previous experience required, other than clinical lab with schooling.
• Ability to organize assignments and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

As our Surgical Scrub Technologist, You will play a critical role in patient care, work alongside top surgeons, and participate in life‑saving procedures daily.

Everyday you will c ommunicate and provide assistance to physicians, patients, anesthesia, staff, family members, and visitors to ensure highest standards are met within the Operating room.

To be successful in this role you must anticipate needs, colloboate with the surgical team, monitor sterile fields and set the OR up for success.

Job Requirements

Required
